Our Story
Kenya has always been a nation of traders. Long before "e-commerce" was a word anyone used, our people were buying and selling in open-air markets, roadside kiosks, weekly cattle auctions, and informal sokos that spring up wherever people gather. The jua kali sector alone employs millions of Kenyans, from welders and carpenters to tailors, mechanics, and hairdressers. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) form the backbone of our economy, contributing significantly to household incomes and national GDP. How MyBizMtaani Works
Getting started on MyBizMtaani is simple, and that simplicity is deliberate. Creating an account takes a few minutes. Once registered, you can add a listing — whether it's a product, a service, or a rental — complete with photos, a description, your location, and your contact details, including WhatsApp, so buyers can reach you directly. There is no need for a physical shop or office; your listing becomes your storefront.
For Buyers, Clients & Tenants
Browsing MyBizMtaani is free and open to everyone. You can search by category — Goods, Services, or Rentals — filter by location, and compare options before reaching out to a seller directly. We believe in direct connection: once you find what you're looking for, you communicate straight with the seller or service provider, just as you would if you met them at the market.
We also make it easy to reach us directly. Our support team is available via WhatsApp and email, and we are constantly working to improve the platform based on feedback from the very communities we serve — because MyBizMtaani only works if it works for the people using it every day.
